Jonno Scaroni
Mortgage Broker & Director
Jonno has spent close to a decade working across banking and finance, but his approach has always been the same: clients first, paperwork second.
He began his career with ANZ before moving into mortgage broking, where he quickly progressed from broker to business owner, helping lead and grow one of Queensland’s larger brokerages. Following the sale of that business in 2022, Jonno stepped into a senior lending advisory role, gaining extensive exposure to more complex lending, including commercial transactions and development finance.
Today at JS Finance Group, Jonno works across the full spectrum of lending. Whether it’s a first home, a refinance, an investment portfolio, SMSF lending or a development project, his strength lies in understanding the bigger picture and structuring finance to support long-term plans, not just immediate approval.
He holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and a Bachelor of Business Management.
Outside the office, Jonno’s time is mostly spent with his family. When he’s not doing that, he’s usually training, currently preparing for endurance races and working towards completing a 100km run, or in the gym kickboxing, a sport he’s loved since his teens.
Emma McWilliams-Scaroni
Mortgage Broker & Co-Founder
Emma has over 11 years’ experience in lending and has worked in almost every part of the process, from support and processing through to broking and client advisory.
She began her career in mortgage broking straight out of school at 16, learning the industry from the ground up. Since then, Emma has worked across both banking and broking, including roles with Suncorp and BCU, before partnering with Jonno in at a local mortgage broker.
That hands-on background means Emma understands not just how to get a loan approved, but how to keep it moving. She specialises in residential lending and equipment finance, and is known for guiding clients step-by-step so the process feels manageable and clear, especially for first home buyers and busy families.
Emma holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
Outside work, Emma spends most of her time with her family and kids, usually camping, at the beach, or snuggling up with a good book.

At JS Finance Group, we believe finance should feel understandable and supportive, not rushed, confusing or transactional.
Most people come to a broker at a significant moment in life. Buying a first home, upgrading, starting a business, investing, or funding a project. The numbers matter, but what matters more is what those decisions allow you to do next. Our role is to slow the process down, explain it clearly, and help you make choices you’re comfortable with long after settlement day.
We work across home loans, equipment finance, commercial lending and development finance. Every situation is different, so rather than starting with lenders or products, we start with you, what you’re trying to achieve, how your circumstances work, and what would actually make this decision feel right.
From there, we structure options, guide you through the application process, manage communication with banks, and stay involved right through to settlement. We also continue supporting clients after their loan is in place, reviewing structures and helping when circumstances or plans change.
We’re a small, hands-on team by design. That means you’ll always deal directly with someone who knows your situation, not a call centre or rotating contact. Our focus is simple: clear guidance, steady support, and finance decisions you can feel confident about.
Because good lending isn’t just about approval, it’s about making sure the decision still makes sense for you in the years ahead.
